We are the Visual Engagement Lab! We investigate human factors in the visual discovery and communication of data, with a particular focus on the health and life science domains. Our research examines the role of interaction, aesthetics, and storytelling in visualization, and how these elements affect perception, behavior, and decision-making for various audience and user groups.
