Abstract:
Computational fabrication describes the process of designing a digital 3D model and manufacturing it with 3D printers or CNC machines. This workflow allows for the creation of unique and customized products that would otherwise be infeasible to produce. In this lecture I will discuss the complete pipeline from 3D modeling to 3D printing, highlight common issues , and showcase some of its remarkable results.
