Collaborative Workshop for Science Communication and Education

On December 4, the Visualization and Didactics groups here at the Department of Informatics held a co-creation workshop for science communication and education. We were delighted to invite Jodie Jenkinson of the ScienceVis Lab at the University of Toronto.

Through co-creation methods and copious sticky notes, participants explored “blue-sky” hopes for what they would like to achieve in their research. What emerged from this session were solutions and methodologies for shared challenges, as well as opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
